Join me every week on a livestream class.
I’ll be teaching solo movement for hip hop. The focus will be on body isolations, footwork, quality of movement.
No experience is necessary. Many of my students requesting for this class are West Coast Swing dancers looking to add solo training movement to their dancing.
All Classes are drop in and the choreo is not linked from week to week.
Don’t worry if you can’t take class right at the scheduled time. I have students from all over the world taking class at their convenience. Once you’ve paid you’ll be sent a link.
Paypal or Venmo me for the Youtube live link. The link grants you access to live stream then you can review that live stream and take class or review the choreo as often as you’d like.

This post is long overdue.
Aside from all the social distancing and all businesses shutting down temporarily, many of you have noticed that Super Swing Tuesdays is no more.
We’ve had an amazing run and the idea would be to eventually bring it back to some capacity. But finding space seems to be the difficult thing. Brix had an amazing bar, kitchen, staff and food. But maybe not the best learning environment. We moved to Peak performing arts center. There was almost the complete opposite. Great floor, wonderful space, great location, and also terrific staff. But we lost the social atmosphere and ability to hold a social dance.
Before the social distancing we were having really great success with our bimonthly Firehouse dances. Day long intensives with evening sessions. We will for sure continue those once we’re allowed to return to normal activity.
But all in all this was to inform all of you that we currently don’t have a Tuesday Class and social anymore. But I still have all the wonderful memories we cherished and all the new friendships we’ve made and all the old friendships we’ve strengthened. I know we all still consider the Super Swing Tuesdays crew family as we still have the Facebook group, we still use that name for our tables at events and still post happenings in that group and my Instagram.
This is all really a thank you as well. Thank you to everyone who’s come out to support the dances and lessons. Thank you to those that have help support and build a local community. Thank you to the wonderful individuals and businesses that have help make this special group happen. Thank you Brix, thank you Peak, and thank you Paramus Firehouse.
Stay tuned and updated when we can fast forward past all of this. Maybe SST family will return.
This is a difficult time as we all are required to stay indoors and social distance from others to stay safe. By now you should be aware that many events have been canceled and normal social dance activity has come to a screeching halt.
But we are a strong and tough community. There are many instructors out there including myself that are doing their best to provide you all with drills, lectures, videos, virtual lessons and guided practices. You’re love and support to continue to take lessons and help the artists and professionals that have been impacted by this worldwide crisis is greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all the students that have continued to work with me, kept busy practicing, and donated to my art and passion. We will all get through this soon and be back on the floor sharing wcs together.
If you’re interested in lessons. Feel free to contact me directly. If you’re not on Facebook, I currently teach hip hop classes every Thursday at 7pm East Coast Time. I currently run my classes on Youtube livestream so all you need to do is message me and either PayPal or Venmo me for any upcoming class or you can also pay me for any past classes you’d like to take. Once you pay for a session, it’s yours to keep and you can go back and watch as often as you’d like. You can pause, rewind and do class again and again.
I will be adding more content for west coast swing shortly and will get better at updating my website so stay tuned.

Sorry for the delay but the last three weeks from Super Swing Tuesday Recaps are finally online. No need to worry because I’ve figured out a better way to edit my videos for convenience without sacrificing quality. Keep up to date and check out my Youtube Channel for my videos every week.
After a wonderful vacation I have finally been able to catch up and get these wonderful videos for you all to review. I apologize that I was extremely tired in this video as I had just gotten off the plane and just made it back in time for class. I hope you enjoy. The first video is a rough syllabus of basic patterns in West Coast Swing. There are lots of interpretations of how many core basics there are. These are my set patterns. In the demonstration I did not choreograph to phrase to the music. The goal was simply to go through as many of the basics as possible. The second video you will see a demonstration of musicality and styling as influenced and inspired by some of my favorite peer champion dancers. Enjoy!

I was on vacation in California and my wonderful students Kristen Shaw and Andrew Hayden did an amazing job holding the fort down at Brix for our weekly dance. Holding with my themes and theory, they taught a wonderful lesson on turn location for the beginners, and consistent movement for the intermediate and advanced class. Stay tuned for more videos to come. But definitely join us in Jersey for our dance at Brix.

Here it is. I’m wearing my award from Swing Fling the past weekend. We went over a lot of information and had fun trying some new stuff. We really packed both classes and had fun playing with variations including the beginning class. Hope you all can join us next time at Brix.

Another wonderful Tuesday at Brix with Guest Instructor and DJ Kristen Shaw!
I was traveling for work and Kristen and my wife Bridget held down the fort and taught a wonderful set of classes. The beautiful duo had a blast with the local crowd. Everyone also seemed to enjoy the new drink specials at the bar! Stay tuned for more video recaps every week. But come join us in Belleville when you have a free Tuesday evening.
